Today, this technology has surpassed the simple concept of "lighting." The main goal has become twofold: to enhance design and, at the same time, to transform light into an immediate source of visual information. In 2023, Stern Weber introduced the **LED PACK System**, a modern and technologically advanced solution designed to meet medical industry standards as well. Consisting of two elegant LED crowns, the system harmonizes perfectly with the lines of the dental unit, highlighting it and adding a touch of prestige to the entire practice. ### **Personalized design and patient comfort** To characterize the environment, the desired color of the LED crowns can be set from the control panel, matching it to the upholstery of the chair or other elements of the practice. In addition to aesthetics, Stern Weber has developed features designed to put patients at ease, such as pleasant accompanying visual effects during access, chair movement, glass filling, and the rinse phase. Special attention is paid to the little ones with the friendly "CHILD MODE": by activating it, the system reproduces dynamic rainbow colorations, which are great for distracting pedodontic patients and lessening the fear they may feel when approaching the chair. ### **A valuable ally for hygiene and clinical practice** The usefulness of the LED Pack extends to optimizing workflows, such as synchronizing LED crowns with disinfection of water lines. The medical team will only need to take a quick glance at the color to know immediately if the cycle is still running or if, instead, it has ended. However, it is in the activation of the "clinical" displays that the day-to-day usefulness of the system is revealed. In this mode, the LED PACK turns into a real additional screen to provide you with practical information: - **Spray check:** the spray status for the selected instrument (no spray, water only, air only, full spray) is visually displayed. - **Support for the hygienist:** the appropriate color is shown based on the mode of use of the scaler, providing a handy reference. - **Accuracy in endodontics:** the color scale changes in perfect synchrony with the gradual approach to the root apex, thanks to the information detected by the locator integrated in the dentist's tablet.
